Was unterscheidet digitale Malerei von herkömmlicher Malerei?
Vereinfacht gesagt: nur die technischen Arbeitsmittel. Der Computer ist im Grunde nichts anderes als ein Werkzeug. Das Malprogramm (Photoshop etc.) und auch das iPad sind besondere Eigenschaften/Funktionen dieses Arbeitsmittels.
Wenn ich also ein digitales Bild male, steht nicht die technsichen Spielerei im Vordergrund.
Ein gutes Bild ist ein gutes Bild, egal mit welchem Arbeistmittel es erzeugt wurde. Ich brauche dafür eine Idee. Erst dann kann ich anfangen, das Bild digital zu malen. Und je besser ich meine Arbeistmittel beherrsche, um so näher komme ich dem Ziel. Im Laufe der Zeit gewinnt man die Sicherheit, um frei von jedem technischen Schnickschnack wirkliche Bilder malen zu können - auch digital am Mac mit Pencil.
Meine Bilder sende ich wenn finanziell möglich in Druck, egal ob auf Papier oder Leinwand. Wenn das Bild ausgedruckt ist lösche ich die Druckdatei um den Unikatcharakter zu halten. Eine kleinere Auflösung der Datei behalte ich für eventuelle Kataloge oder ähnliches.
Meinen Fotoapperat bzw. Handy verwende ich als Skizzenbuch.
Die Fotos überarbeite (verarbeite ich nicht, sonderm stelle sie aucf den 2. Monitor um sie als Vorlage zu haben. Es sind Skizzen mehr nicht.
